M.Sc. Teaching    

As part of the Advanced M.Sc. in Distributed Interactive Systems run by Lancaster University, LandMARC is introducing an optional module focusing on the use of Microsoft technology for application development. The core modules that make up the M.Sc. course include:

• Research Management

Existing optional modules include:

• Advances in Telecommunications
• Multimedia Information Systems
• Multimedia Systems Engineering
• Interactive Systems Design
• Critical Systems Engineering
• Requirements Engineering

The new Microsoft-based optional module will cover topics such as the Win32 API, COM+ / DCOM, Winsock2 / GQoS etc…

Individual summer term projects will be available to enable students to concentrate on a specific area of development. Course material will be made available on the Internet, via this web site.
